In fact, a lot of social problems have been solved thanks to the activities of non-profit organizations, whose main goal is not making a profit, but the implementation of measures to support people in need, the implementation of measures aimed at protecting the environment or the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage. In essence, the registration of a volunteer organization is the registration of an NPO.
In practice, this means that the non-profit organization itself is a volunteer organization, i.e. volunteers created such an organization to legally formalize its activities, or non-profit organizations cooperate with volunteers and volunteer associations. The subject of activity of such non-profit organizations is the solution of socially significant problems in society. As a rule, volunteers do not have enough resources in their activities. Therefore, a frequent example of volunteers setting up an NPO is the registration of a Charitable Foundation. Within such a Foundation one can officially raise funds from sponsors and use these funds to provide assistance to a wide range of people.
At the same time, the activities of Non-Profit Organizations are aimed at coordinating and mobilizing the maximum number of volunteer resources, which are used to solve social problems. In addition, non-profit organizations contribute to the promotion and propagation of the ideas, values and practices of volunteerism, as well as help to unite volunteer and public-public efforts.
