HSNJRF Grants $253,000 to Help Rebuild Homes
An infusion of funding to the Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity chapter will facilitate the repairs of a dozen homes damaged by Superstorm Sandy, the nonprofit organization announced.
"We are pleased to announce that Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity has received additional funding from the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund to complete 12 additional homes damaged by Superstorm Sandy," said spokeswoman Heather Hickman.
The Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund is a nonprofit organization chaired by New Jersey First Lady Mary Pat Christie. The Relief Fund raises and distributes funds to organizations that support the recovery and rebuilding efforts of New Jersey communities impacted by Superstorm Sandy.
